Africa Educational TrustGB-CHC-313139-SVEStrengthening Village Education aims to improve access to and quality of primary education in 100 marginalised communities in South Sudan, especially for girls, by empowering School Mothers and PTAs to advocate for their rights to education and to participation in decision-making that affects their communities. Expected outcomes: (1) Increased capacity of School Mothers and PTAs to understand and advocate for their rights, especially educational rights; (2) Increased capacity of Resource and Open Learning (ROLE) Centres to deliver education projects; (3) Improved government-Civil Society engagement on local education provision; (4) Improved girls’ access to and attendance at primary schools.
